I was born in the middle (Ohio) , but 

grew up on the edges (California and Virginia)

        before settling in upstate New York.  After receiving a degree in 

    painting and printmaking from Virginia Commonwealth University,

     I moved for a few years to New York City.  I have lived in the Hudson 

     Valley in upstate New York for many years, raising three children and 

            attending a meditation ashram in the Catskill mountains.
